I have recently purchased large, medium, and small canisters, as well as a large spice jar and utensil crock. After closely examining the labels that came attached to the bottom of these items, I have to report that they read: "Made in Thailand" (as opposed to Amazon.com's description which says they are "Made in France"). Unless Thailand is now owned by France, to say that these items (and perhaps other Le Creuset products as well) are "Made in France" is potentially misleading/deceptive advertising.
